A highlights tour to discover the history and
the legendary heroes who made Rome “Caput
Mundi”. It is an half day walking tour over the
Coliseum, the most famous monument of Rome,
where the mad emperors performed in the arena as
gladiators.
Walk through the heart of the Ancient city, the
Roman Forum, where our tour guides will bring
back to life the memories of a lost world, from
the assassination of Julius
Caesar
to fascinating details of daily life in ancient
Rome; they will make you love the magical Rome .
See the very sight with the body of Caesar was
cremated, the Temple of the Vestal Virgins, the
Senate House, the ancient market the brothels
and walk on the Via Sacra, where legions once
marched during the the triumphal parades.
Visit the lush Palatine hill, a large open air
museum with the remains of the emperors palaces
and their private playgrounds, and where
according to the legend Romulus founded the city
in 753 BC after killing his brother Remus. We
will explore the imperial places that crowned
the hilltop, the remains of the aqueduct of
Claudius, the Golden House of Nero and the House
of Augustus.
