Welcome to our three hour Vatican tour. With your child-friendly private guide, you will discover the delights of the Vatican Museums, St Peter’s Basilica and Sistine Chapel.
With your skip the line tickets, your Vatican scavenger hunt begins at the Vatican museums visiting the fabulous galleries at the Vatican and on to the Sistine Chapel, one of the most sacred sites on the planet, and finally visiting St Peter’s Basilica where you will witness the glory of Michelangelo’s frescoes.
The scavenger hunt tour will have children solving puzzles and clues along the way and colouring-in activities as the children learn about the artefacts and sculptures in the galleries including the mysterious Egyptian artifacts in the Egyptian Gallery to seeing where Nero took his baths in a huge marble bathtub. The private guide will entertain children but stories from the past and ask the children to look for hidden clues in some of the most famous paintings on the planet.
Adults, do not worry as the guide will ask you to find some hidden mysteries too!
No treasure hunt is complete without little presents for the kids. the activity books which will be distributed to them at the start of the tour is for them to keep and there’s some memory of their precious time at the Vatican museums.

The tour continues to these fabulous attractions where the kids are introduced to the magic of Michelangelo, and other famous artists of the Renaissance and Baroque period.

- There is a dress code to the Vatican which applies to children too. Shoulders and knees must be covered.
- If Saint Peter’s Basilica is closed for a religious function at short notice as it is a working church, you will be spending more time in the Vatican gallery’s with your private guide.
- The Vatican Museums get rather busy during summer and after a bank holiday.
- If a disabled visitor is able to produce a certificate showing that they are more than 74% disabled, entry to the Vatican museums is free of charge.
